Would an implant or a bridge be more suitable for me?
The extent of tooth loss, the health of the adjacent teeth and the bone structure all influence this decision. As implant treatment does not require any intervention on the surrounding teeth, it can offer a long-term solution. Bridge treatment, on the other hand, can sometimes be completed in a shorter timeframe. The most appropriate option is determined following a clinical and radiological assessment.
How long does a dental implant procedure take, and how many sessions are required to complete it?
Implant treatment is usually planned in several stages. In the first stage, the implant is placed, followed by a period of osseointegration. Although this process varies from person to person, it can take anywhere from a few weeks to several months. In suitable cases, the process can be completed without any loss of aesthetics by using temporary teeth.
Why do dental treatment prices vary?
The treatment plan, the materials used, the doctor’s area of specialisation and the scope of the procedure are the main factors affecting prices. As each
patient’s needs are different, a personalised plan is drawn up rather than a standard price being applied. A detailed assessment following the
consultation is required to provide precise information.
Is it possible to have a tooth fitted (immediate implant) on the same day?
In patients with a suitable bone structure, a temporary tooth can be fitted on the day the implant is placed. This allows the patient to continue with their daily life without being left without teeth. However, this procedure may not be suitable for every patient and requires a detailed assessment.
Is a zirconia crown or a veneer (porcelain veneer) better?
Whilst zirconia crowns are preferred for their greater durability, particularly for back teeth, veneer (porcelain veneer) treatments can offer aesthetic
results with minimal intervention on front teeth. The most suitable treatment is determined based on tooth structure, bite alignment and aesthetic
expectations. The most appropriate treatment plan is devised on an individual basis following a detailed examination.
